Ravens and Chaparrals WCFA 2009 Champions

The West Coast Football Association Championship games were held on October 24, 2009 at WAMS in Sanger Ca. In the Junior division the Northwest Ravens became the 2009 Junior Champions by defeating Sanger 24-0. In the Senior division the Sanger Chaparrals defeated the Northwest Raven by a score of 53-14 to become WCFA 2009 Senior Champions. Congratulations to both teams and the coaching staffs.

WCFA 2009 Pee Wee Shoot Out held on Saturday October 17th at Rio Vista Middle school crowned the Fresno Pirates as 2009 Pee Wee Champions. With three teams tying at the conclusion of the games Madera Stallions, Northwest Ravens and Fresno Pirates it came down to most points scored at the event. The following points separated each team: Fresno Pirates 63, Northwest Ravens 52 and Madera Stallions 46. We would like to congratulate Head Coach Jesse Silva and his Pirate coaching staff for an awesome season. Go Pirates!!!!!!!

A tough weekend for Sanger in the Junior division. Hoover 20 Sanger Blue 19, Northwest Ravens 19 Sanger Red 6, and Pirates 25 Madera 0. In the Senior Division, Madera moves up in the rankings. This was a shoot out and a down to the wire game with the final score Madera 35 Pirates 31.
